Raja is an accomplished executive and an entrepreneur with a passion for
social enterprises and more generally companies and organizations that make a
positive difference in the lives of people, preserve our planet and are able to
be sustainable and financially healthy. As an executive he has senior level
experience in multinationals (Coca-Cola, B&W/BAT, BOC Group...) in Europe,
Asia and in multiple MENA countries and as Managing Director of a multi-million
dollar regional retail group.
He has successfully managed organizations in difficult and sometimes
hostile environments. Raja championed environmental and social
responsibility initiatives throughout his corporate career. As an
entrepreneur focused on social enterprises, he co-founded 2b design an award winning
social enterprise, and has been active
in the non-profit world serving as Chairman of the Board and Acting Executive
Director of a fast growing NGO providing health care and non-formal education
mainly to Middle Eastern gypsies. He gained his MBA from New York University
and his BA from the American University of Beirut.
