Since his AUB graduate studies in the 1980's, David Haskell has innovated for social impact in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.  David now mentors and invests in social entrepreneurs in hard places as co-founder and CEO of Dreams InDeed International.  Formerly founding director of Habitat for Humanity Middle East and East Africa, David has launched six start-ups and directed four turn-arounds.  David earned an MPA from Harvard in Leadership, Negotiation and Mediation, and an MA in Applied Linguistics from UCLA.  A Harvard Pforzheimer Fellow and University of Jordan Fulbright Scholar, David received a UCLA Outstanding Teaching Award and has presented at the business or graduate schools of AUB, Adelphi, Berkeley, Duke, Harvard, Notre Dame, Oxford, Princeton, Stanford, and Tufts.  David has co-authored Harnessing Values for Impact Beyond Profit in MENA (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2012), and Spiritual Resources for Change in Hard Places: A Values-Driven Social Entrepreneurship Theory of Change (ISCE Publishing, 2009).
