Dana Bolden leads Corporate Communications for The Coca-Cola Company’s 90-country Eurasia and Africa Group.  In this capacity he develops media policies for Company’s global business units and leads the emerging markets media relations programs and stakeholder engagement.  He also works with bottling partners across the region to develop communications programs that ensure all employees are equipped with the tools they need to be effective brand ambassadors.

He has managed crisis communications in Egypt, relief communications efforts in Pakistan, environmental communications in India and business transformation communications in Russia.  Recently, he led Bloomberg Businessweek on a four-country tour in Africa that resulted in a cover story on the Company’s success in Africa.  

Dana has led communications for The Coca-Cola Company’s annual involvement in the World Economic Forum in Davos since 2006 and maintains relationships between international financial media and the Company as well as global press associations.  

Prior to his current assignment, Dana oversaw the Corporate Media Relations function in Atlanta where he worked to tell The Coca-Cola Company’s growth story with key media.  In particular, Dana increased the Company’s focus on agenda-setting print and broadcast opportunities during his tenure which was best exemplified by his stewardship of the one-hour behind-the-scenes CNBC documentary, Coca-Cola: The Real Story Behind the Real Thing.

Dana is accredited in public relations, is active in the Public Relations Society of America, the Black Public Relations Society and The Harley Owners Group (HOG). 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Washington & Lee University.  Dana and his wife Leslie have two children, Asa and Celeste, and reside in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
